Currently, there is no license for running a brothel or massage parlour in NSW.
Approvals to run the business are obtained from the local council, in accordance with “local environment plan”.
We do not recommend buying an existing business without this approval in place.
When buying a business it is important that you obtain a copy of the Development Approval (DA).
This document will clearly spell out the conditions the business is allowed to operate.
These include;
Hours of operation, number of rooms, security requirements, parking
just to name a few.
